How Rosa Built Bloomfield's Favorite Table

La Monarka started as a food truck chasing the Finger Lakes — and ended up becoming Bloomfield's most beloved table. This is how Rosa got here.

LOVE me some food!!! Hands down our favorite food in the area (have been visiting their food truck for 4+ years). So excited they now have a restaurant! We went for lunch with a toddler & a baby. They were welcoming to our chaos — had high chairs and a stand for the car seat.

We were really excited to try this new spot, and it did not disappoint. We used to visit them when they had their food truck, and it's great to see they've brought that same quality into a full restaurant. Everything tasted incredibly fresh — the tortillas and chips were clearly homemade, and the salsa was excellent.

Soooo happy for La Monarka to finally have their own restaurant after patronizing their food truck many, many times over the past few years. Great location on busy route 5 & 20 opposite Other Half brewing. They have all of their food truck classics including the best birria I ever had.

I had a takeout order and both the quesbirria and tacos al pastor were fantastic. That consome is delicious and the salsa added a nice little kick. I will definitely be back for tamales.
